Tinting Windows

How many of you out there have tinted your own windows? I live in Boston, so the cheapest I've found a place to do it for is 225. I honestly don't see myself paying 225 for something like, so I wanna know how hard it is to do myself. From what I've heard, it's pretty hard. But hey, I got patience, so who knows.

Well, I guess it all depends on where you live. I paid $150 for my G20.

I would higly recommend paying a proffesional to do it. Not only do you get there knowledge on the product, but you get a warranty, etc. From what I have seen on cars where the owners have done it. The tint tends to bubble up after a few months. It looks bad. Also, the only kind of tint I believe you can buy in the stores is the dyed tint. Dyed tint will turn purple over time. What you want to get is the metalized titnt, at least thats what they call it out here. The metalized tint is gauranteed to keep its color.
