p0300 code

;03 tahoe, 5.3

ok, here we go

pull the dipstick, looks milky and high level, smells like gas, replaced fuel presure regulator, changed oil, still same result.

pulled all spark plugs, number 4 and six looked awful clean,

pulled dipstick while running, smoke coming out like a steam machine.

can't rev past 2500 rpm

someone help, i'm about to pull my hair out.

Re: p0300 code

prime fuel pressure 52psi then dies down to 49, while running pulled passenger side wires, no difference, go to the driver side and it dies, gotta be fuel pump?? or should i try and bypass that fancy unit that it goes into right after the tank?

Re: p0300 code

coolant is fine, and the oil i drained out the first time smells like gas, but i believe that is from the pressure regulator cuz when i took it off and sucked on it to see if it was working i got a mouthful of gas, running fuel pressure is about 47psi, passenger side cat is cool compared to driverside,

Re: p0300 code

something is just really weird, it smells like its running rich, and when i pulled the wires there is spark in between the coil and wire, they are brand new wires and plugs
