99 Alero 3.4 coolant in oil after head and intake gaskets

i have 99 alero with a 3.4 v6 in it. it was leaking oil externally and some internally. i ripped it all apart, cleaned everything, and reassembled it with new gaskets, head bolts, intake gaskets and torqued everything to the proper specs. i was a bit confused when i had to torque the head bolts and then turn them an additional 90 degrees but did it anyhow. i didn't have an angle gauge so i used the actual heads as a straight edge reference point. some of them tightened right up so that i could hardly turn them with a 1/2 breaker bar and others felt as if they were loose. i figured i did it all by the book it should be good though. put it all back together and drove it for a day or 2 and noticed a burning coolant smell when coming to a stop. i found that there was coolant coming back through the throttle body and leaking out between that and the rubber intake tube. i found that there was a lot of coolant in the oil. i pulled the oil dipstick and there was nothing on it but coolant. i torn it all down and got the intake off b/c i thought i has messed up a seal putting it on but it looks good. both sealing surfaces of the head and lower intake look and feel smooth and flat. i don't want to have to take the heads off again but i fear i may have to. is there any test i can do to find out if the head gaskets are good between the coolant and oil passages? could i have a crack in a head somewhere or the intake? i did a compression test before i ripped it down the 2nd time and they were all 165-180psi. i'm just not sure what to do besides spend another 200 for gaskets and redo it.

How much coolant is being lost?
Did you see the Google ad Tagged @ top?
