1991 C/K 1500 Startup problems
Here is my problem. My truck had been sitting for several days so I decided to drive it for about 30min. First I had to start it with a jump. Then I let it warm up for about 5-7min. After driving it for about 30 min I parked it. I turned the engine off and immediately cranked it again. I waited about a min and tried again. This time nothing. No electrical, horn, lights, power. The truck was dead. I tried jumping it again and still nothing. I would like to have some idea what the problem is before I have it towed. I know towing will be very expensive not to mention the labor and parts. What do you think?

Re: 1991 C/K 1500 Startup problems
I would take the battery down and have it tested. I had this experience once before when I left the radio on all night. I successfully jumped it but suffered the same fate after I shut it off. Most auto parts stores will do this for free, in fact I dont know of any that charge for testing.
