power window 1998 century

Mine quit with a kinda loud noise inside the door.
The motor goes back and forth but the window does not move.

It seems as if there are only 3 parts to this.
Motor
window
regulator.

The motor spins and the window is there.

(sure there are the controls)

I think the regulator blew.

Is it hard to change out?

Cheers

Re: power window 1998 century

Take the door panel off and check if the glass is still on the tracks (window lift). If it is, check to see if the lift is still attached to the motor.
