Headers, ECU, intake, nitrous, ignition. And you could also get it bored for better pistons.

But honestly...think of the amount of money you spent to get 400HP and the money you'd spend TT wise to get 400HP...makes it all silly

Yeah, Z31 owners and Z32 owners will both tell you that it's not worth upgrading NA's for any of those years. If you haven't already bought the 300zx then i'd suggest finding a good twin turbo zx. You will see 400HP easily.

the N/A will have longevity over any turbo motor. i've asked this same ? before, & everybody told me the turbo motor will have a better powerband. even if it's a LS1 vs Nissan's VG30DETT both w/ equal HP/TQ rating.

The Faster the Shorter

The Faster the car is usually the more work that needs to be done to maintain it. You asked if a NA would last longer than a TT. Of course, the TT runs a lot hotter and has more things that go wrong. But to sorta steal the phrase, "More Horses more Problems." How fast do you want to go anyway? If you want to scare people. then you have to have the money to do it. Like everyone says, trade it in for a TT and forget about Turbo Charging the NA. If you have to keep the NA, you can get into the 13's with a few thousand bucks.

If you keep the NA...just forget about trying to go real fast and beating up on those Cobra's and ZO6's...just be content w/it putting a smile on your face and keeping you ahead of about 90% of the game...but not respected in the street racing world

What's Fast

No, not a joke if you're going to race most Civics, and stuff like that. 13's isn't slow...but then again what's you idea of fast?

I have to agree.
I was part of a street racing forum called Texas Racing Scene and I got NO respect. My Z is fast -- no doubt, but it seemed to me that people just couldn't appreciate it for what it was knowing that Nissan made the Twin Turbo model. It's sad.

I feel ya' brother! People knowing that there was, well, and is a faster model out there, they don't respect it. Haters!
