Too bad. Her acting was reasonably solid and she seemed to be professional. She was good at her profession and did not do stupid stuff to attract the press.

Ironic part is her health/weight/drug problems were brought on by the dieting and plastic surgury she did to make herself pretty.

Well, imho she was pretty before she did anything. She looked fine in Clueless.

But yes, she had done a lot to alter her appearance. She looks very different in this early clip (click here), than she did recently (click here).


She was in a harsh, high-pressure and stressful business. A lot of money, fame, status and success relies on maintaining or getting the desired appearance, especially for women; and few people seem to handle it without side effects.

this is true to an extent but you also have to remember that clueless came out in 1995 meaning she as only 17 at that time. a lot can change in 15 years that may not necessarily have to do with drugs and plastic surgery/diet.

Very true. But if you look at her, she's has a chin implant, cheekbone implants, nose job inflatable lips and boobs, and eye work done, imho.

If you know what to look for, the results are fairly easy to see.
