My best advice is to get a good ls1 tra s am or camaro and put a couple good mods on it. Faster, cheaper, better gas mileage (hidden+) and in my opinion they look much better

Re: buying car?

How does an LS1 get better mileage than a 2.0L(ish) 4 cylinder turbo? As far as Subaru goes, have someone look to see if the headgaskets are leaking or if there are any oil leaks. Headgaskets are somewhat common. Oil leaks are a different matter. The front oil pump has an O-ring that will eventually deform and start leaking oil. If you are due for a timing belt change, it isn't that bad. Installing the oil pump is kind of a pain though. The headgaskets also leak oil every once in awhile. Oil pan leaks are somewhat common. And finally, the PITA of em all is the cover for the passenger wristpin access plug. You have to pull the engine for those. Don't let that stuff scare ya just keep it in mind when you look at one. The rest of the car is pretty bulletproof, just keep the same age/brand tires on all 4 corners.

Quite simply, it doesn't, besides, the 2004 STi is a 2.5L turbo.
And well, that also depends on how you drive them.

The Euro Combined cycled for the LS1 Camaro is about 21-22 mpg whereas the Impreza WRX STi is given a test figure of around 27-28.
However, most STi owners will tell you that anything north of 20 is a bonus....

The real question is why the OP was looking at Impreza's in the first place.
If the requirements are for a 4 door, 4 seat saloon with decent performance, then how does a Camaro fulfill those criteria?
If it's just about speed and tuning potential there are better than both available.

Because he wants to "I realy just want it for a weekend cruser too,

I ment to put the Firebird but the Camaro gets identical mileage.

..... That really helped your cause.

EDIT: The WRX isn't bad but it just has that ricer image associated with it, hence I hate it.

I never insulted the people that drive it, it just falls victim to being riced out a lot.

And if you think calling some one a "fuck stick", a "bitch", and a "motherfucker" and telling them to lick your ball (apparently you only have 1? ) helps your case, then I got nothin for you.
