1999 Century Headlight Issues
From what I read it sounds like the malfunction switch but I thought I'd get a second opinion before ripping things apart.
First, I noticed an occasional flicker in the headlights, then they stoped comming on by the light sensor and the manual switch wouldn't work either. The only way to turn them on was to flash the highbeams on and off. That no longer works, actually the highbeams wont even stay on unless I hold the switch towards myself the whole time i'm driving. Also side markers come on automatically at night, and can be turned on and off with the manual switch during the day. Tail lights ans signals all function normally. I didn't try and replace the relays because the only two I found were on the fuse pannel under the hood, two seperate relays for the left and right but being that they both failed at the same time I saw no reason to replace them. Everything else on the car works just fine except for the fuel gauge which occasionally will jump around spontaniously. Does this sound like the Malfunction switch or have I missed something? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Mark.

Re: 1999 Century Headlight Issues
Multifunction switch is the best starting point based on your symptoms.
