Help with fuel filter change on an '04

Hey guys,

I am going to replace the fuel filter on an '04. This one has two quick connect lines coming in one one side, and the other side has a large nut on the filter, as well as nut on the fuel line.

I'm looking for some advice on how to do this change without getting fuel all over the place. What order should I disconnect things, and what tips can you give me? Every time I've done a fuel filter it's a real bear to get off the fuel line that has the nut. With the two quick connects, the FF won't be able to spin around.

i have yet to change a fuel filter without getting fuel everywhere. even when i depressureize the line. good luck.

OK then! I guess I'll do it outside so I don't kill myself. I did a fuel tank change on a Mazda once, inside a garage with the doors shut once. I don't know how many brain cells I fried that day!

Yeah there really isnt a way to. I just catch the gas the comes out and dump it right back in the tank when done.
