Coilover install

My cousin recently acquired a set of coilovers for his 97 cavalier z24. I was just wondering if anybody has a complete install of a set of coilovers. I know the coilovers come with directions but i was just wondering about special tools needed and some tips and tricks. Also what about struts does he need them? Thanks.
