Avalon ECM fuse and codes 1133/1135

I tried pulling the ECM fuse with the car off and key off and the check eng light was still on when I restarted the car. What am I doing wrong? thanks again.

You are not doing anything wrong. You have a DTC from a problem which is detected immediately and you are getting a CEL as soon as the code is stored. Removing the ECM fuse only deletes codes that are stored. It does not prevent codes from triggering the CEL. Find out which codes are stored.
