Is this a good deal?

So, what do you think of this for my first car? Is it worth it?

find out the mileage first. that's alot for a '91. there's a '93 hatch for sale here in Ontario for $4000 CDN and it only has 175 thousand km (thinking if i can buy it or not). if that car has really low mileage (below 100k) or an SR or some other perk, then go for it. if not, then keep looking because that's a rip-off if there's nothing special about it.

I have seen 1991's for alot less then that...but I am guessing that buddy would be willing to negotiate. Check out www.buysell.com, and canadatrader.com to see if they have any similar ones, and check out what they are going for. Oh, and for sure, check out the KM's, and the floor carpet...you can tell how hard a car has been driven, but the conditon of the carpet...and anyone that doesnt tell you how many KM's are on the car in the add, means that they are high, so they will want you to call so they can convince you they are highway KM's...lol...

but hey, they are hot cars, I was looking at getting one, as they go for about $5K here. If the Km's arnt high, and it passes inspection, make them an offer, and have some fun!

Good Luck!!

I would typically look for one around the $3000 mark.
Also doesnt the Canadian 240 come with a different stock motor than the US one does?

plus Canadian cars don't come with the super-annoying automatic seatbelts.

SE-R - that car in your signature is sexy.
