hello i'm new
hi all i'm a first timer.well for that matter i'm new to the using the computor to and can't spell. ha ha i have a 99 alero and the fuel gauge seems to have a mind of it's own. the car runs great but the gauge does what ever it wants to one min. it reeds full the next min. it reeds 1/4 tank please help and againe sorry about spelling i falled that in school.

Welcome to AF.
You have a fuel level sending unit issue which is part of the fuel pump assembly. However, the problem is you have to drop the gas tank to replace it. You can get the sending unit separate instead of buying a whole fuel pump assembly.

thank you very much... i thought i wood have to replace the hole fuel pump. it's nice to know i can just replce the level senser. mabey i can save a few bucks. i will also check all the plugins the have to do with it. boy this site has helped me with 6 things just to day when i sighed up. is there a way to donate some bucks to help keep this site up. i know it costs money to run this. thanks agin. curt
