Manual Transmission 3.4

Does anyone know if a manual tranny from a 90s cavalier 3.1 will fit and work with a 2000 alero 3.4 and what would be needed electricaly for it to work? Ecu reprogram?

I doubt it. The issue is not getting it to work electrically but the mechanical portion like will it mount to the bellhousing and then you need the clutch components and shifter. Obviously the ECU aka powertrain control module would need to be reprogrammed.
