high mileage
Thee Old Bucket (a.k.a. 89 4Runner), turned 500,000km, (310,686 miles), the other day with no signs of slowing down. Anybody else with a high mileage 4runner??

Re: high mileage
What have you had to replace up to this point to keep it running?

Mine's a youngster with 110,000. Just getting warmed up and properly broken in. Oil changes, plugs, one set of wires, and air filters.

Re: high mileage
I just turned 432,000 kms on my 89 and still going well. Had to replace lots of body parts, fenders, rear quarters, repair rear door but still runs great summer and winter and in -30 he's still a champ. I see your in Calgary, the body looks like it's in good shape. 2nd Gen rims on it and a rusty rear bumper. Still like to see the first gens still going. I am in Banff got to love the removable tops...
