Fog Light switch Causing Problems 99GTP
I replaced my fog light switch because the led was dead and because the junkyard only wanted 4 bucks for it. Now I noticed that when my fog lights and headlights are on at the same time it appears that my highbeams are in via HUD. My highbeam indicator is also on in my dash but its not lit all the way.. its odd. Also the HUD highbeam indicator flickers on and off occassionally.
Could it be that the switch is bad? I already through out my burnt out LED one so I am thining about buying another from a junk yard and trying it out.

Yeah, sounds like a switch issue.
Yank that switch apart and see whats up. Check out my post in the tips and maintenance subforum.... http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...d.php?t=925884

If you do find a switch that works, I would mod the switch the way Tblake did. Led's with stand voltage surges better than an incandescent can.
