When Decals come off?

Hey, if you take a decal off a car after it's been on for a few years, can you tell were the decal was (because of a sight color difference say because the part underneath is covered for a long time while the rest is exposed to the elements)? Thanks! :frog:

Generally speaking, no you cant tell the difference. Dirt lines will be around were the decal used to be, and the dirt is mixed with adhesive, so use something like goof off to remove it (not too much, and don't let it sit on your paint for long). After that re wax it and it should be fine. Test in a inconspicuous area first to see if it is noticable. Getting the decals off is a pain in the ass, use a hot blow dryer (heat guns are too hot) to heat the decal first then pull it off while heating.
