2010 Camaro

For those who took a peek in the WIP thread, sorry about the lack of pictures, I just got my Camera today. There isn't really much to the WIP for the most part its a box stock build, other than changing the location of the gas cap to the factory spot, and adding some aluminum foil to the back of the tail lights to give them a reflective look, I used Tamiya Clear blue on the head lights and fog lights for an HID type effect. Its Duplicolor spray can black and cleared with Omni clear. The clear has some issues, but all in all I'm satisfied for my first completed build in nearly 2 years, if not longer. This has sparked my model itch. I've pulled out both 1/12th scale builds and started correcting my Fox Body Mustang coupe master. I hope you all enjoy.

The pics aren't the greatest. Another thing I need to remember my skills on. I'll try to get some day light pictures tomorrow before I deliver it.

Re: 2010 Camaro

Looks very nice, Russ. I'm glad to see you are back into it again.

Looks like you did a fine job with the paint. I don't much like the lack of chrome or color on real one. I think they could have gotten away with some nice chrome bumpers, or a bit of side trim or SOMETHING. If they want retro, why not bring back what was nice about them, not just the basic design.

Re: 2010 Camaro

Thanks, its glad to be back at it again. I've been churning away on the 1/12th Camaro, Pretty much figured the tires out, working on coil overs right now. I think I've come up with some convincing stuff without machining. Still looking for someone to do wheel sleeves though. Here are some outside pics of the 2010
