What's your poison?

Basically this is a thread to share drinks. What's some of your favorites?

I like simple drinks.

Vodka and Red Bull:

1 - 8.3 ounce can of Red Bull
4 shots of Vodka

Mix and serve over ice.





Rum and Coke

12 ounces of Coke
6 shots of rum

Mix and serve over ice.




Fuzzy Fucker:

1 Part Peach Schnapps
1 Part Vodka
2 Parts Sunny Delight


Mix and serve over ice.




Ruby Relaxer:

1 Shot Vodka
1 Shot Peach Schnapps
1 Shot Malibu Rum (coconut or banana)
Pineapple juice
Cranberry Juice

Add alcohol, fill with pineapple juice, add a splash of cranberry juice.

take a 32oz glass and add
8 oz vodka
6 oz peach schnapps
6 oz triple sec
top off with orange juice and a splash of grenadine


I also like
take a highball and add ice
add jameson until full

I don't really have any favorites. I tend to drink what's available, but I do like to mix Whiskey with any lemon lime soda,add some triple sec and ice.
I also make my own coffee liqueur which I bottle up. I add a couple shots of that to some strong coffee, and add some amaretto. I then top that off with some vanilla ice cream.
Oh and I'm also partial to Bully Hill Sweet Walter Red Wine, made by a local vineyard. (It's great living in the Finger Lakes area of NY loaded with wineries. )

We've been partial lately to either having some spicy V8 (or Clamato) in our beer or to mixing 2 shots whiskey, 1 shot blackberry brandy and 12oz of your favorite cola over ice. 1 shot rum and 1 shot coconut rum over the same works well also.

I drink beer and beer only. A bad experience has ruined hard alcohol for me. I DO recommend Lindemann's Lambic Frambois. My favorite beer.

Depends on my mood.

Dark beer: 1554, Mississippi Mud, Amber Lager, Red Trolly, something foreign or random micro brew

Light: Red Stripe, Sapporo or random mirco brew

Mixed drink:
If I'm feeling up to the task:
Singapore Sling

* 4.0 cl (8 parts) Gin
* 2.0 cl (4 parts) Heering Cherry Liqueur (cherry brandy)
* 0.5 cl (1 part) Cointreau
* 0.5 cl (1 part) DOM Bénédictine
* 1.0 cl (2 parts) Grenadine
* 8.0 cl (16 parts) Pineapple juice
* 3.0 cl (6 parts) Fresh lemon juice
* 1 dash Angostura bitters


Most of the time it's just rum and coke, or Gin + Cointreau and what ever fruit punch/juice is in the fridge .

My friend who is a behemoth of a man insists on taking Man Shots on special holidays like 4th of July or New Years.

Man Shot:
Step 1: Squeeze lemon in your eye
Step 2: Snort a little bit of salt
Step 3: take a shot of Tequila
Step 4: Get Punched in the face.

I'll have to try some of the recommendations. I'm drinking Fuzzy Fuckers again tonight.... they're so good.

As far as beer goes, I like Coors light as a plain beer. I used to drink Sparks a lot, but have now switched to Dragon Joose. 3 cans will fuck you up....24 ounces at 9.9% alcohol:

I have found that vodka in jello is excellent when working on a car or around the house because one can't actually spill the 'drink'.
