1970 Chevelle
1970 Chevelle
Color: Testors Sapphire Blue Metallic w/ Valspar Gloss Clear Extras: flocking, real struts from ink pen springs on a set of Mustang shocks, roll cage padding wrapped with real tape, photo etched plate cover, gauge bezels, engine wiring, added exhaust tips from coffee stirrers, custom decals, BMF, etc. Description:</B> This was a fun build. I added some things I've never worked with, like bare metal foil and photo etched details. I custom cut the decals from a Camaro to fit the hood. I took foam and wrapped the roll cage and cut tiny strips of electrical tape to keep it together. I also polished the paint. Tell me what you think, so I'll know how to improve. *G* Visit my homepage for more pics, or I can post some here if anyone wants to see.

Re: 1970 Chevelle
Everything looks pretty good man. You are on your way. You know how to do the little details. Just need to scale them down a little. The seat belts look a little wide. And most of the time, kit chrome doesn't fit kits too well. It just doesn't look right. It isn't too out of place tho. Keep up the great work!

Re: 1970 Chevelle
be careful when using BMF. you need 100% sharp=new blade when cutting it. as you can see, your edges are not clean.

Re: 1970 Chevelle
This was my first time using BMF, so it was a learning process.

Re: 1970 Chevelle
Very old school, very 70s. I'm not sure why the air filter element is gold... But otherwise, I like.
