Fiat 500 Africa Expediton

Hi guys!

Read the rivetting (completely true!) story about the Schweizer Trans-Afrika Expedition 1967:

Cheers,

Re: Fiat 500 Africa Expediton

Nice build, nice background story too, optimism was high (no pun intended) in those days . I have owned 2 of those cars, later models tho 126bis, took one from UK to sothern Italy & back via portugal on the way and Munich () on the way back in '81, it was a catalogue of breakdowns, repairs, and mishaps and that was on paved roads . The thought of taking one to Africa ...

Hi David, so I actually got quite close to reality then, eh? You must have had quite a trip with all misfortunes but you obviously got back alive. Stay tuned for more Fiats coming up in the next weeks to come. Thanks for commenting!

Cheers,
Stellan

Re: Fiat 500 Africa Expediton

Hi Robi, so you agree, eh? Well many thanks from me then, I kind of like the sound of " pure coolness" . Wait a minute, I think IŽm into something cool, or at least chilly, for my next one to build. Got to go back to my den and fiddle around a bit trying to figure out how to fit it all together. Stay put y'all, more to show next week.
