Labor on Fuel Filter
I have 97 GrandPrix GT with 105k. I am taking it to a mechanic to change the fuel filter (GF578). How long should it take and what would be a fair price on labor?

Re: Labor on Fuel Filter
No more than .5 hours. I recall the local GM dealer would charge around $60 for fuel filter replacement service which included the Delco filter. You know it is easy to replace DIY.

Re: Labor on Fuel Filter
I agree with Bob, it will actually take them longer to get the car up on the hoist than it will to change the filter. No more than .5 hours as its a 5-10 minute job.
