engine replacement
i have a 94 merc gran marq with a 4.6 engine that got blown---will a 98 4.6 engine fit in the car without a lot of adjustments?

I forgot to add that I know where you could get a direct replacement cheap. The guy was asking $500 for it, I offered him $250 and he said he would take it. The engine was out of his 92 Lincoln that he totaled out. It has I think 98,000 or 89,000 miles on it. Only thing is, he is moving really soon and if it don't sell he's taking it to the junkyard. I looked at the engine for my car but it was the wrong one. But it will fit yours, so let me know if your interested and I'll send you the guys number. It is located in St. Louis, Michigan 48880.

You will just have to change the intake and sensors from your old engine to the replacement one.
