it's already a rule to put relays everytime you change your stock bulbs from 55-60 watts to a doubly powerful 100-120 watts.
I have a friend who wants to enhance the look of his e46 without breaking the bank. He wants to change his stock halogen 55 watt bulbs to superwhite halogens with 85 watts output. (xenons are definitely out of the question) My question is, will the stock wires melt or so? Does he still need to install relays and new wires? Any other consequences? by the way, the bulbs are H7. |
