94 Pickup Spark Plugs?

I'm told that my 1994 Nissan Pickup 4 cyl has 8 spark plugs but I can only find the 4 that are connected to the wires coming from the distributor. Where are the other 4? Thanks.

I have since found in a Haynes manual that my truck does have 8 spark plugs (4 intake and 4 exhaust) but I still don't know where the other 4 are. It's a 1994 Nissan Ka24e.

LMFAO, wow, sorry. i got a 95 with the same engine. you have 4 spark plugs. 5 wires, the extra is for the coil. oh and FYI your distributor, send the shot through spark plug wires to the spark plugs, which is what lights the air gas mixture inside the cylinder. The spark plugs are in the side of the block. not in the exhaust/intake whatever you said. See 16 year olds anit that dumb. hahahah


four cylinders = 4 spark plugs
six cylinders = 6 spark plugs
eight cylinders = 8 spark plugs
ten cylinder = 10 spark plugs
ect. ect ect.

oh for future reference.

CJGERARDI there are 5 wires, the coil isnt a spark plug, "SON". epic failure.

no dude, if you have the 1984 truck, then that system runs w/ the 8 spark plug system

Z20, Z22, Z24 and Z24i Engines

These engines have two spark plugs per cylinder. This arrangement allows the engine to burn large amounts of recirculated exhaust gases without affecting performance. In fact, the system works so well it improves gas mileage under most circumstances.

Both spark plugs fire simultaneously, which substantially shortens the time required to burn the air/fuel mixture when exhaust gases (EGR) are not being recirculated. When gases are being recirculated, the dual spark plug system brings the ignition level up to that of a single plug system which is not recirculating exhaust gases.

you have the 1994 model w/ fuel injector system and you already verified that you saw 5 wires from the distributor cap, you got 4 plugs only

i know since i also have a KA24E engine in my nissan 240sx
