Re: engine wont start when warmed
Leaking FPR diaphram or ECT sensor. With the engine hot, what is the resistance of the ECT sensor?
EDIT: I doubt this could be a leaking FPR because on TBI models, the fuel pressure drops to zero when the key is off. //2000CAYukon |

Re: engine wont start when warmed
You can bypass the ECT by removing the connector (next to Tstat in intake manifold) and create a jumper wire between the 2 wires in the connector. If it starts good warm with the jumper wire, the ECT is bad.
Your other option is to use a scan tool and see what temp is being reported by the ECT. //2000CAYukon |

Re: engine wont start when warmed
I'd have to see a picture to see what you are talking about, but if you are talking about the thing connected to your center plug wire on the distributor, yes.
