I was checking for a pressure leak when I pulled off the lined from my tbi that goes to the canister.I blow into it and gas vapor was leaking out.I saw the vapor coming out.My question is:do this canister suppose to hold pressure? Does it suppose to be a vent?

Re: fuel vapor canister
the whole point of a charcoal canister is to capture the vapors coming off the tank. If it vented then you wouldn't need a canister.
It will hold as much pressure as the gas cap holds which is anywhere from 1-3 psi. The canister holds and stores vapors until the ported vacuum source (the small hose) signals the valve on top of the canister to open and suck the vapors into the intake (the big hose).
