Hood Protector Silicone clear sticky discs

Hi all,

I need 2 of those sticky clear silicone discs that hood protectors come with.

Before anyone says this, let me add that ive gone to home improvement stores looking for the 3M discs that are similar, but none are thin enough or large enough in diameter to cover the area.

Anyone know where i can find them or order them online even?

How thick are the ones you need and what diameter?

A good question.

When i called the dealership, they simply didnt know.

Ive found some sites that sell the discs, but Id want ones that are made for cars. Last thing i need is damage done by them simply because they arent meant for such an application.

Perhaps you can install the hood protector on the vehicle and measure the clearance between the hood(?) and the protector. You can also guestimate the diameter you need.
