Ferrari F40

Today I completed the Tamiya Ferrari F40.

I build this car for a dutch contest with the subject: 'tribute to...' So this is a tribute to Enzo Ferrari. And for me this is just the ultimate Ferrari ever build.

Here are the final pics:

I like it

The kit is quite good. The thrunk and windows are the only problem I had, but this is possible to fix.

The studio27 PE set is also a good set. I used almost every part of it and I think it gives much more detail to the car.
I also used a PE seatbelt and some kevlar for the engineroom and interior.

Thanks for watching!

Kris.

Re: Ferrari F40

Don't beg, it's not becoming

(Kidding, by the way).

I think it looks incredible! I've not built this one myself, but judging from the issues I've heard with the engine lid fit, looks like you've handled it very well.

Also, I really like the deeper red color - not sure if it's the lighting or the paint, but I like it better than the 'normal' bright red you see on most newer Ferraris.
