Alclad paint on Zero Primer?

Hello again.
Another quenstion...
Can I use Alclad II aluminum paint on Zero Grey Primer?
Also, Alclad paints and Alclad primer needs thinner for airbrushing.. If yes what kind?

Thanks for your time.

Yes, you can use the aluminum Alclad on Zero grey primer. I usually use it over black though for a better finish. I use regular lacquer thinner for the Alclad paints. Never used their primer though so maybe someone else can answer that question for you.

Re: Alclad paint on Zero Primer?

I've never had to use thinner for Alclad - it works just fine straight out of the bottle. I'm guessing older paint might need some thinner - but if you just bought it and you think it needs to be thinned, talk to your retailer about replacing it.

I do use the Alclad airbrush cleaner when I'm done, it works great.
