eyelids

i've seen a couple pics of peeps rides with i think eyelids are what they are called right? Anyways, two questions: They don't come painted already right? Where can i find them? (online) I know RedY2kCivic has them, and i haven't seen them in person around here and i live in so cal. I know people around here must have them. Are they worth looking into?

Are you kidding me? I see cars with them ALL over the place. Just look around a little harder. Maybe drive around Alhambra or San Gabrial a little more.

DIY or professionally installed?
Then you gotta paint em right? How much do places charge to paint something small like that?

i painted them myself with a spray can. it was easy. most people use just 3m double sided tape to attach them, however i chose to use silicone sealant to secure them to the headlight. any other questions about mine send me a pm or reply here

oh ok. My 98 is factory black. how do i find out what color paint spray will match? also, i was on ebay looking for these and i only found one person selling a set, but they are in the next city over and they're probably a shop so i'll check them out later. thanks.

I got my paint just from kragens when I painted mine. They have factory colors there, so just look around. It didn't even take the big can of it to match the color just right, just light layers. Its real easy to do The 3M tape kinda shows through close up when your lights are on at night, so I used the silicone sealant as well.

yeah for the color matched paint find out what the color name is and go to autozone, kragebs, whatever and buy the paint made by a company called duplicolor. also don't forget to gey clear coat.

the eyebrows can be purchased at most places like nopi.com and many others and also advanced auto parts has them not sure if you have a store near you or not. peace

they don't need to be prepped or anything? They're ready to have a layer of black paint over them then a clear coat? sounds good and easy.

preeping you might wanna put a layer of primer on but it isn't necessary. then take a rag with rubbing alcohol and clean them real good and then paint light coats like 3 maybe whatever and then like 2 layers of clear coat.
