Its not my car. I found it on a Japanese website. I tells u what the guy did, but in japanese. Looks like he used his headlights to make a mold, and then used some fibreglass to creat the eye lids, spraypainted them and put them on!

I wish I could read japanese.. but I'm willing to bet he used something like 3M doublesided tape. That stuff is powerful.

It looks like he used fiberglass in his sketches.
What about using a thin polystyrene sheet and a heat gun to mold it to a headlight assembly? I may try it.

Ok from his site, it appears he used three layers of fiberglass from a repair patch kit to create them. He tapes off the area on the headlight and applies the fiberglass and resin directly. They look pretty nicely done.

Does anyone know if what the ones from Need4Speed are made of?Fiberglass would be nice but I would guess they are acrylic or some other plastic.

I had eyebrows made out of fiberglass like this at one time, done at a body shop.

One of them ended up cracking do to a little mishap involving a garbage can

The NFS eyebrows are plastic based which is better. Why would anyone want fiberglass ones instead of plastic??

With the tiny size of these things it probably is not a big deal if they are fiberglass or plastic. It's more personal preference, but with fiberglass they can make them quite thin for appearance, yet strong.

It would probably hold your average touchup spray paint better since it wouldn't have as much flex or temp sensitive charateristics that some plastics have.

Plastics like acrylic do absorb impact better though, but I can't say anything about running into garbage cans!

I think I may try it with molded plastic and see how it turns out.

Anyone know if the NFS ones cover the top of the side marker or wrap down the back edge of it? The pic on their site only shows a frontal view.

They are 3 different style eyebrows from need for speed.

Light Brows Style 1 - These go just over the headlights
Light Brows Style 2 - These go over the headlights & corners (sidemarkers)
Light Brows Style 3 - I think this style is an outline of the whole headlight although I am not sure.

I've seen the Style 2 on Japanese P10 Primera's. They look quite nice. I haven't seen the Style 1 though. Have you seen any pics with eyelids of this type?

The Japanese DIY guy took the easiest route and just ran a straight line from the corner of the hood to the grill. I'm not as fond of that look.

I think the Style 1 would be easier to make than the Style 2 and probably look better too.

Plus if I get the SilverVision turn signals I would want to hide them.
