97 gt weird alternator problem

ok heres the deal
when im driving down the road somtimes my alt light will come on and my lights and heater dim/slow down
then i can keep driving and light goes out and all is fine
also if light is on i put car in neutral or park and let idle it will start charging again


not often i ask but this one really has me stumped

Best thing to do is get the alternator tested to include the battery. First, check the battery positive and negative cables to include the battery terminals. Also, the red alternator output wire and connector.

i'll check those things out
by the way the alt was rebuilt this summer so shouldnt be alt
ill check the other things first

well after gettin some reasonable weather and taking alt apart
it was bad connection to regulator
so guess you were right tblake lol
