Talking "Working Mans Eclipse"

I shot these photos of a work in progress, sitting in a lot when the owner walk up. You all know how it go's you have to tell them ever thing under the sun so they wont thing your up to no good. Any way he let me get some shots.

Now the guy and his girl were in a rush so I only got the one side. I wached him tack off and I can tell you that on the othere side theres only one big blob of primer on the drivers door and the the tail lights are custom type link the lime green car for F&F 1 and the wheels are the same ones from the little black civics from that same movie. Now I thought I still had a kit unbuilt. I was rong I will need to get a new kit. I do by the way have the wheels and that's good., So I will have to order up a new kit so can build this car.

Why you may ask would any one want to build her in this condition. It's a way to test my weathering skills. I don't always like to build super-shiny models. Some times it's always good to build a premier queen.

The wheel type.

An this is the car I thought I still had undone. I'm not stripping it.

Once I get the new kit in I will start then.

You should work on that duster in the background while you are waiting.

I like the idea of a 'less-than-perfect' model. I'll be watching.

Re: "Working Mans Eclipse"

white R34 we want to see all cars in all stages of build isn't that Y it's called "WIP street" doesn't matter if it's a piece of jap 4 cyl rubbish or a US V8 muscle car crap ( see I don't discriminate) they all the same in primer just another car waiting for its dress. Can't wait to see wot this one looks like when it's finished. Oh by the way what the heck is an Eclipse (ei: make etc) I live in Australia and some of these cars don't ever get here so they are strangers to me.

Eclipse is a Mitsubishi, this particular 2G Eclipse was produced from 95-99. It comes in 4 trims (GSX, GST, GS, RS). GSX is sought after due to 4wd and turbo 4G63T. GSX and GST both produced 210 hp, while GS and RS got the measly 140 hp non turbo four banger.

Waiting for more updates
