I have a 2003 Grand Am, and it shuts down while driving for about 20 miles. After it sits for awhile, it will start again. But before it shuts down, I smell something burning for a minute, then it go away.I've replaced the fuel pump replay, fuel pump, crankshaft positioning sensor, and the igition module. What could the problem be,because it's bleeding my bank account dry.PLEASE HELP !!!

Re: Grand Am Frustration
We need more information... does the electrical system go dead? Does it smoke before or after? Where is it smoking? Does it just die or does it run rough first?
Gotta give us everything you know.
