Exclamation Probelm help plz.

hey guys im new here on AF ya ne ways im haveing a problem my civic. Was runing good then i dont use for 24 hours. Next day i try to start it but it doesnt start. It smells like gas but like its not making the fire. People told me might be the wiring or distribution cap but thats all new when i changed my motor..........um im not sure ne help k thx guys


also ne one make home made cold air intake????? need info plz cuz i have intake but want cold air one and dont want to pay 250$ lol

I may be way off here, but I never heard of an "Igniter" were the hell is that at?

do what gunmen said, check for spark in the spark plugs. take the spark plug off, put it back in the wire, then touch the thread to something metal on the engine, cant be painted, needs to be bare metal. then start it, and if the spark plug sparks then u got spark and its soemthing else

The ignitor is part of the distributor assembly. They are notorious on hondas to go out, just as GM 4 cylidners are known for their ignition module failure. Its a simple process to change, take off the distributor, couple bolts and swap. If you're still confused, get a service manual it sholud have in depth instrution.
