Ford Crown Victoria Tennessee Patrol Car

Well I've finally started on my plastic models I say that coz I normaly build cardstock. This is one of 2 cars I bought just recently and I'n buiding it coz it doesn't need painting.. Please enjoy this build.

I apploogise for the quality of the photos but I'm still learning how to use the cell phone camera and what settings to useon it, at the moment it's set at 640x800 any suggestions on higher use of resolution setting on the camera PLEASE.

Re: Ford Crown Victoria Tennessee Patrol Car

From what I can see, it's looking good!

Best advice I can offer on the pics is to get a 'real' digital camera - the ones on cell phones don't offer much in the way of resolution, and they don't have the best quality for a given resolution. They always seem to take dark pics as well unless you have lots of light on your subject.

Absolutely right. Get a real camera. Cell phone cameras just are not up to the task, and will likely never be.

Re: Ford Crown Victoria Tennessee Patrol Car

Guys the cell phone camera is just a fill in until we can afford a "real camera" in your words I could improve the lighting by placing more lights to light the area up which is something I may do but for now I'm stuck with the camera phone not all of us can afford digi cameras on a spur of the moment flash or whim anyway it's not the machine but the operator this time so in future I'll prodive more lighting so you can see my subjects I can also up the resolution. TRBJ if you are asking what the poster is in the background if so, it's a Mack Superliner single drive hauling a single axle horse trailer, I sorry but I can't tell you much more than that as it's from an old Oct 2006 trucking magazine that I no longer have and was the winner for that month as the truck of the month.

I would like to thank you all for your input on the camera situation I promise you it will improve sometime in the future.

Looks good! Small suggestion for the rub strips, if you can use a single piece of masking tape along the borders, it will help you get a smooth, clean straight line. It's not always easy to run the tape, but it can help.

Pics are a 1000% better, too

Re: Ford Crown Victoria Tennessee Patrol Car

talieson, I do know all about the tape thing but this time it happen to be paint bleed and I didn't notice it until I hade dipped the body into the floor polish for the shine so I left it like instead of wrecking the whole lot with a redo, it's the only part I had to paint so I guess it ain't half bad a job anyway.
