Need help with sunroof

My mom has a 92 sable wagon and is having problems with her sunroof. I am not home to look at the car and have gotten her to temporarily fix all the problems except getting it closed. Without seeing the car I dont know how to manually close the power sunroof. I cant imagine its that hard I am just not there to see it. Thanks.

Take the carpeting off the roof, and just push hard at it. It should close sorta easy....
