It's hard to tell in the photo's but it doesn't look metallic. It could be Guards Red, the standard Porsche Bright Red.

Depends what kind of paint you can get...
from the pix it looks like corvette victory red, model master 'boyds red' might work too.

Sure looks like Guards Red. Don't make it harder than it is.

The car was obviously photographed under studio conditions. The 'exotic' look is more an artifact of the photography than the color.

No, I have a friend that saw this exact car on the roads in Europe, and it looks metallic.

No.
The car in the photos is car number 002.
It is Guards Red+Black/Dark Grey.

Another example of Guards Red under studio conditions.

I would have to agree w/ Austin.
It's definitely not standard guards red, even under any exotic lighting.
I would guess there's a really dark prime, followed by a pearlescent base,
and clearish topcoats.

just my

I hate to disagree with you but that has never been a pearl base.Look at the very first picture on the link. It's standard Guards Red.The lighting can change colours enormously.

I still have to disagree, if I'm wrong I'm wrong, that's ok.

It looks way too shifty to be just standard red.
I say there's a something in either the base or midcoat.
They do use them---->http://www.gemballa.com/CarVariante_8#
and it is over $300k.

Just had a look on the link that you posted and you can actually contact them.Maybe if the original poster sent a message they may tell him the actual colour used on car 002 which featured in the pictures in post number 1..???? Just a thought.
