If they were to bring over the nissan silvia or the skyline . Either one would make me happy i would buy the first one that came into the dealer . But i don't think that this will happen I dont think i really like the way the new Z looks . I think it will just take sometime for me to get use to that kinda look

Brand new R34 GT-R will cost around $90k from MotoRex.
But I think it's well worth it.
No Ferrari, no car, is better than the Skyline GT-R in my opinion.

No, no no, I know of the Skyline's excellence. I really do wish they'd bring them over. I mean, that sort of performance matched with the availability for modification and with a relatively cheap price. It's a great car....but, I'd still take a Ferrar:sun:

The Skyline GTR rocks. But it is a saloon. Ferrari makes GT and sports cars. They don't even have a car with an engine under 8 cylinders in their current line up of new cars. Campair the GTR to the 2001 BMW //M 3 , but not to Ferreri.

You can easily compare the GT-R to any Ferrari though.
Just soop the RB26DETT a lil, maybe to like 600 horses, and it will beat any Ferrari, 1/4mile, n-ring, whatever the conditions.

GTR cannot be compared to a Ferrari? Hmm..that's new! Just compare the numbers. GTR R 33/34 vs F355 / 360. Free the GTR's breathing,increase the boost and you have 380hp at the wheel compared to 380hp at the engine of the F355 and about 410hp at the engine of the F360. Real world performance? Almost the same if not better than the Ferraris. I have told it before and I am gonna tell you again - I smoked a F355 in a puff in my GTR! But of course, the Ferrari's V8 sounds so sweet ! But wait till the GTR is modded up to 500-600hp at the wheel - the Ferraris are going to tremble in their pants!

All said and some are done.....if I have the money, I still want a Ferrari or two!! Long live Ferrari!:sun:

I uderstand your point. But, IMHO, it's even lamer to compair a modified GTR to a Ferrari... whatever 355 challange, or 360. The stock R34 "tweaked" to 325bhp can keep up with the 355 (the 400R should give it a challenge :smoker2: ). The 360 is a different story though. Shoot it has faster lap times on tracks (from what I've seen so far) than the 550 Maranello and Chevrolets Corvetter ZO6. Plus 8s and 12s sound better than a 6... (...not to say my R33 GTR doesn't sound like Godzilla )

But Racer, you need to remember that stock GTR's numbers cannot be really compared to the Ferrari's numbers because the Japanese restricts their power by private arrangement among their manufacturers (what a stupid thing to do! ) Can you imagine if the restriction is not there. They will make the Ferrari look tiny man!!

Is the F360 faster round the track than the Maranello? Wow!! Perhaps it's b'coz it's much lighter and smaller. I mean the Mara is not exactly svelte! You want to know how much F360 cost in M'sia? USD 474000.00!!!!! Ridiculous price!
