Skyline Zero

This started life as the Fujimi Skyline race car. However I had some difficulties with the decals and then while I was applying the black chrome I managed to pull up the roof decal. So, I didn't want to scrap the build and I thought a few days on it. When it hit me. I've wanted to try making my own decals for a while now. This car would be my experiment. After some more thinking. I decided a Rising Sun would look really cool and set about designing it. I also tried a bit of weathering and using a mechanical pencil to do the panel lines. This is the finished result, I'm very happy with it and after a number of years of not being an active builder I finally finished a kit. I also have to work on my miniature photography. I seem to be much better the the 1:1 cars.

Re: Skyline Zero

Nice rock chip weathering on the front end! If you are building a number of canadian car (ahem*CALGARY*ahem) this technique would be used ten times more dramatic on each and every one of those cars. The pebbles they put on the roads in winter are crazy!
