Grand Prix Blower Vacuum lines
We have searched on this forum a lot and have found what we think is our problem with our blower being stuck on defroster. The vacuum line right near the battery was just laying in the battery tray broken. Our problem is we cant figure out where is goes from there. Can someone give the exact location the small vacuum lines goes into the firewall? We have this end where it comes out of the fender from behind the battery but theres no where for it to go.

Re: Grand Prix Blower Vacuum lines
Welcome to AF.
Be sure to post the year and model Grand Prix. If this is a '97-'03 then then the vaccum line to the HVAC system goes into the main wiring harness located underneath the main engine compartment fuse box and then to the firewall into the cabin. It is wrapped up in the plastic protective covering so you may have to remove or peel back some of the covering to see the vacuum line.

Re: Grand Prix Blower Vacuum lines
I think we got this figured out now. There is one that goes into the big plastic loom with all the wires and goes into the firewall. Our problem actually was the larger line that went to the washer pump from the T was undone, we plugged that in and it worked. As for the smaller line we found near the battery, no idea what thats for or where its spose to go. Its a 1997 SE 3.8 Thank you very much for your help.
