Sick Of V6 Ecotec, What Can I Use?

I HAVE A 95 VS UTE WITH THE 3.8L V6 ECOTEC MANUAL, I THINK THEY'RE REALLY GUTTLESS FOR THE SIZE OF THE ENGINE! IS THERE ANYTHING THAT I CAN DO TO BEEF IT UP A LITTLE EG, SUPERCHARGE, CAMS... OR HOW MUCH WOULD IT COST TO PUT AN 8 IN IT?
I REALLY WANT TO PUT A 1JZ-GTE ENGINE IN IT. OUT OF THE TOYOTA SOARER(2.5 L TWIN TURBO, STRAIGHT 6). DO ANY SMART PEOPLE KNOW IF THIS CAN BE DONE, AND WHAT SORT OF PRICE AND PROBLEMS I MAY COME ACROSS.
THANKS FOR YOUR TIME
NATH
