planning to get a 6th gen hatch.

should it matter if i get a clean or salvage title?

only thing with salvage is you cant get full coverage on your insurance....Its way cheaper and i mean liability takes care of other car if you wreck it.. but thats up to you ..

It would steer clear of anything with a salvage title. I dont know if you know this or not, but a salvage title means the car has been wrecked beyond what the value of the car is. So basically it would take more to get it fixed than it would to go buy a comparable one that is clean. So you basically end up with a piece of crap car that may or may not be road worthy. Someone may have put some work into it to get it looking good and running again and it may seem OK at first inspection, but it's likely youre going to end up with a car that constantly needs fixing. If youre looking for a good overall call, DO NOT get one with a salvage title.

I see, I was just curious because my friend just bought a 99 civic dx (HB) with 24k miles for only $2000 + Tax. He told me it was damaged in the front, bumper, lights, radiator, etc giving it the salvage title, thats why I'm wondering if it's worth it or not.
