Vehicular personality disorder

Saw this on a local for sale site. It is very clean, but the poor car. What would you register this as?

Wow, wish I could pimp my ride like that but I have a life. Maybe he's selling it to get his life back.

Why wouldn't this person just go out and buy the real thing? I am sure he spent enough, modding that car, to have just saved up and actually had one!

Re: Vehicular personality disorder

A hobby? People buy old cars and do them up all the time, doing it with new cars has the potential to be shown off, rather than old cars which rarely leave the garage.

Not bad quality of work, just not my interest. I would rather have that Freightliner Classic XL in the background of the front clip shot....to sell it for 'velle parts!

Re: Vehicular personality disorder

So, one of our local guys actually took it for a test drive. Here is the story he got:

"So i guess this kid bought the car from a dealer 2 years ago for 15k. now is trying to sell it for 5k firm. It was in horrid shape and everything except the system was done like worse than maaco. Everything was painted like all plastic peices widhshield wipers, etc. here are some pics of just *SOME* of the damage it had.

It didn't have insurance so I only got to take it for a spin around the parking lot, but the rims are new with only 100 miles."

That is a pretty hefty loss in 2 years. And to treat it that badly is just plain stupid.

Re: Vehicular personality disorder

Ya, I was betting that it was thrashed. Most of the time people who do that type of stuff do it themselves or as cheap as possible and it shows. To bad!
