Nissan Skyline GT-R PGC-10

This is my new project.

The Fujimi Nissan Skyline GT-R PGC-10.

I'll build it OOB with some extra details.

The kit comes with 2 different grilles. I'll use the grille shown on the pics. This grille looks meaner I think.

I also will use the original wide RS-Watanabe wheels. I paint the wheels gloss black

The colour will be red with some flatblack parts like the spoiler and other small parts.

I think it's a nice kit to build even it's so simple and not detailed.

Kris.

I cannot agree more, I got a FC RX7 and a Mis Starion in the same series and they are both just sitting there... Personally I think Fujimi makes crap models for this series... I really struggle to want to finish off those two models

Re: Nissan Skyline GT-R PGC-10

After a time without a computer, I couldn't make any updates.

I took some photo's during the build so here's a big update

First I primed the body, and drilled some holes for a few parts:

I'll use some other mirrors. These are white metall Engelman sportmirrors from Scaleproduction.

The wide watanabe wheels had to be gloss black. So I painted them.

The grille is modified with a red trim aroud it. Just like the Vw gti's

and a dryfit:

I also painted the rollcage yet:

After that I moved on the interior.
I used flat red and some different black colors for the seats and doorpanels. Finished them with a chrome trim.
The interiorflocking is silver from Hiroboy.

The chassis is very simple. I'm not gonna make much work of it, I only removed the exhaust and made a whole new one from metall. After that I also lowered the suspension a bit more and wheaterd the chassis.

The body was painted TS-8 Red.

added some little decals on the body:

While this was drying I completed the whole interior.

and another dryfit:

And after that I clearcoated the body several times:

Meanwhile the body is already polished but I have no pics yet.

Wow, such a mean looking stance! Such a great look....although something about having a rollcage and carpets bugs me ...dunno what it is but just doesn't look right to me. Not to say you haven't done great work though.

Re: Nissan Skyline GT-R PGC-10

last week I polished the body.

I also placed some detail parts and some are dryfitted for the pictures:

I hope to complete it this week or next week.

Kris.
