Why is it reving up?!?!?
I finnaly got my engine swap complete in my 91 grand prix gtp now the 95 motor is in the 91 (its the 3.4 motor). As soon as i start it its like someone is holding the gas down and it revs up and hit s the rev limiter. the throttle is not jammed or anything. I think it may be the throttle sensor screwing up is there anything i can do to figure out whats wrong?

Re: Why is it reving up?!?!?
What motor was originally in the 91?
Not sure what needs to be done, this might be a headache. 95 is the beginning year of OBD2. 91 is OBD1. Did you swap over all the wiring, sensors, and ECM from the doner car? Might have to go get a prom chip from a 1994 or prior with the 3.4 motor. You could try unplugging the TPS sensor and starting the car to see if the idle still races. (remember if its unplugged, and the car idles good, that doesnt necessarily mean the tps is bad)

Re: Why is it reving up?!?!?
the 91 originaly had a 3.4 and i put in a 3.4 from the 95. the 95 didnt come with any wiring i had to switch the harness over from the old motor and put it all on the 95.
