Re: 2002 Jetta TDI Error Code P0128

Welcome to the forum!

Have you tried searching the appropriate VW Jetta forum? This appears to be a pretty common issue with the 2001 and 2002 Jetta, and appears to point to a bad CTS or connection to the CTS. It appears most people have issues with aftermarket CTS, but OEM work fine.

It also appears that VW issues a TSB addressing this common issue. The VW Jetta forum will probably have more details for you.

According to this site its Long Term Fuel Trim B1 System Too Lean.

Not busting chops, but that took a google search and one click

Check that again, what you looked at was for P1128.

But, agreed, I did a quick Google to find a multitude of information on the P0128 code, and I suspect much of the same information could also be found in the VW Jetta forum on this site.
