MR2 MKII T-Top GT:

9 bucks on ebay. The box reeked of cigarette smoke, but the model and all parts were in good condition.

This one will be only curb side.
The only body mods that I performed were the removal of the front license plate mount, and the rear spoiler mount (I'm pretty anti-spoiler). Also did the standard removing of mould lines.




I was going to do the MR2 red, but it seems that is the only color that I ever see them in. I finally saw a black one and thought that it looked fantastic. So black it is. This in my first black car btw. Unpolished thus far. Waiting for the paint to cure.



For the wheels: I used the stock GT-R wheels that came with my R32. I then took the lip from my Sparco 2-piece wheels (which have a new bigger lip for use on the R32). Not sure if I want to leave them with the gunmetal and red lip as they came, or go with bronze.

Black SW20 MR2 is good. Lips are working here.

How about blue lips? With complimenting blue seats?

Ah, the t tops versions are rare these days! I just got given one as a present from a friend, on the condition it gets painted yellow, like her car.

Can't wait to see how this one turns out, my 1:1 scale car is a black MR2
